Gangi Mitigation & Maintenance is a Melbourne-based Gangi Group company. We’ve been family owned and operated since 1978 and still have the same approach - we’re honest, transparent, professional and above all, reliable.
Our History - Gangi Electrics
In 1978, hardworking electrician Sebastiano Gangi started an electrical contracting company in South East Melbourne. Sebastiano developed a reputation for diligent, high quality work, which helped Gangi Electrics grow fast, eventually hiring over 15 employees and expanding nationally and in New Zealand.
When Sebastiano reached his well-earned retirement he passed the business on to his son Daniel Gangi who now runs it with his brother, Robert, and sister, Carla. The business has grown and continues to be a successful and diligent family operation, with the same integrity and customer-first ethos that Sebastiano had back in 1978.
Gangi Mitigation & Maintenance
A considerable portion of Gangi Electrics business has always been Insurance and Maintenance works including large catastrophe claims. As this segment of our business grew, we uncovered a gap in the market and a need for a seperate business specialising in Insurance works.
That’s how Gangi Mitigation & Maintenance was born.
This business boasts the considerable experience of Gangi Electrics, with a specialisation on incident first response, hazard mitigation, SoW, building project management and maintenance.
We’ve been in the industry for decades and have built relationships with trusted suppliers. When we manage a project, we are able to vouch for every person on site at all times - after all, they’re representing our family name..
Our customer-first ethos and professional, collaborative approach enables us to maintain a positive relationship between the Insurer and the Insured so that the works are completed quickly and cost-effectively.
All of our business relationships are transparent and ethical, including with brokers and assessors. We always work in our client’s best interest.
